Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Client Services Officer to join our Business Development and Client Services Team in Port Melbourne. As a Client Services Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, managing inquiries, providing information on NMI's services, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries via email and phone regarding NMI's services and capabilities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on technical aspects of NMI's services, including methodology, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in monitoring shared inboxes and preparing quotations for services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for specified clients.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Client Services Supervisor to support the operations of the Client Services team across multiple locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of a Tertiary Qualification in a science field.
- Demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a laboratory or scientific environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Commitment to workplace diversity, equity, and safety principles.
- Be willing to provide or obtain a National Police Check
- Baseline clearance advantageous or be willing to obtain
- Australian Citizenship
