Project Development and Governance Lead (AO8 Equivalent)

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development and Governance Lead to join our team on an initial 4-week assignment, with the potential for a 2-week extension. This role offers an equivalent pay rate of $88.39 per hour plus superannuation, based in Brisbane CBD, QLD.
About the role
As the Project Development and Governance Lead, you will spearhead the development of project documentation for the SEQ Innovation Economy Fund. Key responsibilities include creating project scope, Gantt charts, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement plans, communication strategies, and risk management frameworks. You will lead stakeholder engagement efforts and provide expert advice on governance throughout project planning, delivery, and reporting phases.
LeadThe project scope and supporting Gantt chart (with work break down structure and timings)
- Governance framework (including individual stakeholder identification)
- Stakeholder engagement framework / plan (including individual stakeholder identification)
- Communication plan (including key messaging)
- Project and Fund Risk Management Framework.
- Lead stakeholder engagement in the development of the project.
Provide expert advice on, and be accountable for, the rigour and performance governance applied to the planning, delivery and administration, resource management and reporting of the project development.
Ensure the quality of program documentation, milestones, key performance indicators, status reporting and other key deliverables meet the required standards.
About You
To thrive in the Project Development and Governance Lead, you will need:
- Previous experience within similar role/s
- Proven capability and ability to meet delivery timeframes.
- Communication skillset and ability to prepare documentation at the required level
- Must have full Australian working rights.
- Be able to pass and maintain a clear police check.
