About the Role: Exciting opportunity for Payroll Officers (ASO4/ASO5 levels) to join a SA Government department for an initial three-month period, with potential for extension.
Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate: $47-$60 per hour + super
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payroll functions ensuring compliance with tax legislation and relevant Awards
- Perform complex calculations including leave audits and termination calculations
- Provide accurate advice and support on payroll matters
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data
- Liaise with senior management as required
About You:
- Prior payroll experience, ideally in Government or Shared Services
- Proficient in tax legislation and compliance
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience working directly with senior management is desirable
