- Up to 12 months with potential to extend, pending business and performance requirements.

Join the dynamic team at the Strategic Change Branch, dedicated to supporting and delivering change outcomes that benefit participants and stakeholders. We work collaboratively to provide a holistic view of agency change priorities and support effective implementation.
About the Role
As an EL1 Strategic Change Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal leadership role within the organisation, overseeing very complex work across Service Design and improvement functions. You'll be responsible for providing leadership, planning, resource management, and decision-making for the team and assigned contractors. This role requires a high level of independence in problem-solving and issues management, along with sound judgement to produce high-level policy advice and operational support.
- Assist in establishing future state vision and stakeholder experience aligned with that vision.
- Coordinate engagement with program and organisational leaders on future state vision and change leadership.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and quality deliverables to meet the needs of service users.
- Manage stakeholder segments and advise on effective channels for change.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and communicate change management requirements and plans.
- Track changes in adoption, behaviors, and attitudes to drive insight and improvement.
- Support the establishment of strategies to prioritise, sequence, and deliver changes.
- Focus strategically on participants, families, carers, providers, staff, and other stakeholders.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve complex issues and risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in change management and driving organisational transformation.
- Sound decision-making and judgement skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members to achieve quality outcomes.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a government or large organisation.
- Knowledge of service design principles and methodologies.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
