Join the Evidence and Practice Leadership Branch, a crucial part of the Policy, Evidence, and Practice Leadership Division, dedicated to ensuring policies and practices are informed by robust evidence. We're committed to improving evidence-based decision-making and maximising the impact of disability research.
About the Role
As an EL1 Assistant Director Clinical Advice and Design, you'll play a vital role in our team, undertaking complex work to deliver quality outcomes within the research and evaluations functions. You'll exercise independence in problem-solving and decision-making, coordinating detailed or sensitive projects and actively managing key stakeholder relationships.
- Plan and conduct workshops and events with key stakeholders to gather input.
- Use co-design methods to develop clinical and non-clinical assessments and health surveys.
- Develop and implement stakeholder communication plans to support engagement activities.
- Write clear, concise reports communicating research findings and implications for policy.
- Provide evidence-informed advice for developing and reviewing policy and guidance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and advisory panels to deliver strategic insights.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Experience in developing or administering clinical assessments.
- Experience managing large-scale research programs.
- Qualitative research experience, particularly with people with disabilities.
- Stakeholder engagement experience in the health or disability sector.
- Understanding of relevant sectors.
- Health professional
- Experience in workforce development or education.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
