HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a diligent APS4 Level FOI Action Officer (Labour Hire) for our client in Deakin Canberra.

About the Role:
As the APS4 Level FOI Action Officer (Labour Hire), you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for our client. Working closely with the team, you'll ensure the agency meets its legal obligations under the FOI Act.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Participant Information Access (PIA) requests and contributing to the development of information handling requirements.
- Providing advice and support to resolve moderately complex enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Offering operational and administrative support, including research and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting FOI Decision Makers in processing and recording FOI decisions accurately.
- Drafting various materials such as data reports, briefings, and correspondence.
- Supporting the development of systems and processes to enhance FOI and PIA handling.
- Providing administrative access and assistance to FOI team members.
- Preparing statistical reports for senior staff as needed.
- Facilitating PIA procedures and ensuring accurate recording on all databases.

About You:

- Proficiency in data management and report preparation.
