Road Network Inspector

Locations: East Perth | Jandakot | Neerabup
Rate: $45-$50/hour (incl. 25% casual loading) + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6am-6pm | 80 hours across 9 shifts per fortnight
Eligibility: Open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only

🛣️ About the Role

Are you passionate about keeping WA's roads safe and well-maintained? We're looking for detail-oriented and proactive Network Inspectors to help monitor and maintain vital road infrastructure across Perth.

In this hands-on role, you'll be out in the field inspecting road assets, identifying defects, and helping prioritise maintenance work to keep our network running smoothly.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of roads, signs, vegetation, and other assets
• Identify and report defects and maintenance needs
• Provide clear scopes and priorities to support maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards

✅ What You'll Need

Essential:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Sharp attention to detail and excellent observation skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Able to pass a drug and alcohol test + National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
• Valid WA C-Class Driver's Licence + Construction White Card
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook & Excel

Desirable:

• Previous experience in road maintenance or construction
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
