We are seeking a driven and analytical APS5 Project Strategy Support Officer to join a high-performing team within a prominent Federal Government agency. This role supports key strategic projects that influence long-term planning and outcomes for the Agency.
As a Project Strategy Support Officer, you'll play a critical role in providing operational and policy support, conducting research and analysis, and contributing to the development of project plans, communications, and recommendations that support the Agency's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop structured insights and recommendations to support complex strategy projects.
Draft reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in preparing regular strategy updates and status reports.
Contribute to the development and tracking of project plans and schedules.
Support logistics for stakeholder engagement, including meetings, minutes, and communications.
Conduct desktop research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
About You:
Previous experience in a similar policy, strategy, or project support role.
Strong research, analysis, and writing skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Comfortable working within government frameworks, policies, and legislation.
