About the role:
This role supports the delivery of accurate fortnightly payroll processing within a collaborative shared services environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Process fortnightly payroll transactions including data entry, timesheet coding, and leave applications
- Meet daily processing targets and contribute to broader team goals
- Work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and meet strict deadlines
- Communicate clearly with internal colleagues and external agency staff
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing sensitive employee data
About you:
- A current National Police Clearance is required (issued within 2 years)
- Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or data entry is highly desirable
- Experience using CHRIS 21 is highly advantageous
- Strong numerical and data entry skills (please indicate your speed and accuracy)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
- A proactive team player who is adaptable and eager to learn
