A federal agency is seeking experienced digital marketing professionals to join their growing team. These pivotal roles support the delivery of clear, accessible, and timely digital communications (email, SMS, app, and online platforms) to NDIS participants, their carers, providers, and broader audiences.
We are recruiting for two levels:
✅ EL1 - Digital Marketing & Communications Lead - Lead strategic digital marketing projects, coach teams, and oversee the Agency's newsletters and targeted campaigns.
✅ APS6 - Digital Marketing & Communications Advisor - Deliver high-profile digital campaigns, support continuous improvement, and play a key role in expanding the Agency's digital communications products.
Key Responsibilities
EL1 - Lead Role:
Lead planning and delivery of high-profile email and SMS marketing campaigns
Oversee the NDIA's suite of subscriber-based newsletters
Drive improvements to digital marketing products, with a focus on accessibility and impact
Lead evaluation, monitoring, and reporting to support data-driven improvements
Coordinate audience segmentation and targeted messaging across multiple platforms
Manage procurement, supplier contracts, and digital marketing governance
Coach and develop team capability in digital marketing strategy and execution
Identify opportunities to expand and optimise digital marketing products
APS6 - Advisor Role:
Support the delivery of high-profile email and SMS marketing campaigns
Contribute to the development and distribution of subscriber-based newsletters
Assist with improvements to digital marketing products to enhance accessibility and effectiveness
Conduct baseline evaluations and support continuous improvements informed by reporting
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver targeted, segmented marketing campaigns
Contribute to process improvements and digital marketing governance
Support capability growth within the team and broader division
Essential Skills & Experience - Both Levels
Experience delivering newsletters and strategic email, SMS, and digital communications in a service context
Ability to apply digital accessibility principles to marketing products
Demonstrated experience segmenting audiences to deliver targeted marketing campaigns
Strong data analysis and reporting skills to drive continuous improvement
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities
EL1 applicants must also demonstrate experience leading teams and coaching others to deliver high-quality, customer-focused marketing strategies.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marketing platforms
Experience delivering marketing communications in a government environment
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
