APS5 Workplace Operations Officer

We are seeking a motivated and organised APS5 Property Officer to join the team and provide essential support across property and corporate operations. This is a team membership role where you will manage your own workflow, make independent decisions within your area of responsibility, and provide policy advice based on relevant policies and legislation.
This role is onsite at the associated office location and requires regular physical attendance.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with and monitor third-party providers for property, shared services, and corporate operations matters
Respond to property and corporate services enquiries and issues from NDIA staff
Contribute to team planning, task allocation, and monitoring of work delivery
Monitor stationery and consumables across NDIA locations and coordinate stock replenishment
Develop and maintain carpark ballots and fleet vehicle allocations
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures for the team
Provide advice and support to NDIA staff on fleet, mail, and other corporate operations matters
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries
Essential Criteria
✔ Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this position (as this is a Federal Government role)
✔ Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow and make independent decisions
✔ Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly where options are not always evident
✔ Ability to provide policy advice based on policies and legislation within an area of specialisation
✔ Effective communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and resolve moderately complex enquiries
✔ Passion for supporting quality business-enabling services and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes
Desirable Criteria
➕ Previous experience working within property or corporate services environments
