About the Role
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Specialist, you'll play a key role in planning, delivering, and optimising multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. You will help lead the agency's digital communications strategy by designing high-impact email and SMS journeys, supporting platform improvements, and building audience relationships that help inform and empower Australians.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and deploying targeted campaigns using Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
- Executing large-scale BAU and bulk sends (700k+ recipients), segmentation, and A/B testing
- Developing responsive and accessible email templates and landing pages using WYSIWYG, HTML, and CSS
- Utilising AMPscript for dynamic content and personalisation
- Collaborating with stakeholders to improve the SFMC service offer and functionality
- Supporting reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement through tools like Google Analytics, Datorama, and native SFMC dashboards
- Supporting baseline evaluations, governance processes, and training of peers in SFMC best practice
- Ensuring campaign compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
- Proven success delivering high-volume multi-channel campaigns, including SMS and email
- Strong knowledge of AMPscript, HTML/CSS, audience segmentation, and automation flows
- Experience in campaign testing, quality assurance (Litmus or Email on Acid), and performance optimisation based on KPIs
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- An understanding of compliance and deliverability standards across regulated industries (e.g., government, healthcare, finance)
- Familiarity with Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, and managing data extensions
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Admin certification
