HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS5 level Project Officer on behalf of our client, located in Gosford NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing federal government team that delivers impactful communication and governance outcomes.
About the Role
As an APS5 level Project Officer, you will support the NSW/ACT Regional Services Division through governance coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication support. Working under limited direction, you'll contribute to high-quality outputs that align with strategic objectives and maintain compliance with agency policies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and implementing governance frameworks and documentation
- Drafting and reviewing communications, including reports, newsletters and briefing materials
- Engaging with internal stakeholders to support effective governance and communication
- Monitoring and reporting on governance processes and outcomes
- Providing project coordination and administrative support
- Contributing to continuous improvement and policy compliance initiatives

About You
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for governance and clear communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in governance, communications, or project support within government or similar environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities
- Knowledge of public sector governance or policy processes is advantageous
