APS 5 level Strategy Officer

HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS5 level Strategy Officer (Labour Hire) on behalf of our client, located in SURRY HILLS NSW.

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing Strategy Branch that advises on key initiatives to improve outcomes for our client's participants. As an APS5 level Strategy Officer, you will support strategic decision-making, deliver structured insights, and work closely with stakeholders and senior executives to ensure alignment with Agency priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting research and analysis to generate insights for strategic projects.
• Drafting briefing materials and communications for diverse stakeholders.
• Presenting recommendations and facilitating strategic discussions.
• Assisting with regular status reporting and exception reporting.
• Supporting project plans and schedules aligned with client frameworks.
• Organising stakeholder meetings and maintaining project communications.
• Delivering procedural, policy and operational support.

About You:

• Proven experience in policy development, research, or strategic analysis.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage workflows, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience supporting project frameworks and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
• A flexible and proactive mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
