About the Role
As an APS4 level Fraud Investigator, you'll support the delivery of fraud investigation functions within a busy and collaborative team. You'll help detect, assess, and respond to fraud by gathering data, preparing reports, and assisting with case coordination.
Key Responsibilities - Assist in developing investigative procedures and training material
- Gather, examine, and evaluate data to support investigative outcomes
- Use databases and analytical tools to prepare reports and findings
- Support forensic accounting teams with document analysis and case prep
- Maintain accurate records in case management systems
- Provide administrative and operational support to the investigations team
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on case matters
What We're Looking For - Certificate IV in Government Investigations or similar
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Comfortable using MS Office, databases, and CRM systems
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to work within a structured team
Desirable Experience - Exposure to fraud investigation or compliance roles
- Background in tribunal, legal, or regulatory environments
- Familiarity with the disability sector or public service programs

- Be willing to undergo a National Police Check and other pre-employment checks
- Be available to commence in the coming weeks
