Accounts Receivable Officer

HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS 5 level Accounts Receivable Lead on behalf of our client, located in SYDNEY CBD.
In this role, you will lead Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring effective management of levies and other revenue billings throughout the year. You will also be responsible for overseeing compliance reviews across Accounts Payable and Procurement functions, while working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and auditors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing levies, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and billing processes
- Conducting compliance checks across Accounts Payable and Procurement
- Supporting annual testing of billing systems and resolving issues
- Preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and resolving queries
- Liaising with external auditors and ensuring fiscal compliance with legislation and policy

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, and collections
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven initiative with strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems (Oracle)
- Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting
