HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of Warehouse Storeperson on behalf of our client, located in Greenway Canberra, ACT.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a high-performing Warehouse & Logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of materials aligns with the Program of Work (PoW) schedule. About the Role:
- Investigate, measure, and resolve warehouse and inventory discrepancies
- Accurately process receipts, issues, and adjustments using a material management system
- Support the warehouse in daily operations including picking, packing, unloading/loading, and dispatch
- Conduct regular stock counts and report on discrepancies
- Maintain site and inventory security, ensuring safety procedures are upheld
- Provide after-hours operational support through an on-call roster
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You:
- Essential:
- Experience in receipting, warehousing, issuing, and distribution
- Strong understanding of modern warehouse practices
- High-risk forklift licence
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC operations
- Desirable:
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Rigging/Dogging qualifications
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility Laws
