APS 5 Training Coordinator

HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of Training Coordinator (APS5) on behalf of our client, located across various locations.
This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of culturally safe and inclusive training programs that strengthen workforce capability and create positive outcomes for First Nations people with disability.
About the Role
As a Training Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate logistics for training delivery, including scheduling, venues, communications, and resources.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training materials, including participant guides and digital content.
- Collaborate with First Nations stakeholders to ensure training reflects cultural knowledge and community perspectives.
- Support the facilitation of sessions with a strong focus on cultural safety and inclusivity.
- Monitor attendance, feedback, and evaluation data to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain training records and contribute to reporting for leadership and governance bodies.
- Contribute to embedding trauma-informed and culturally safe practices across learning solutions.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of cultural safety and First Nations perspectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and inclusive training practices.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and culturally responsive service delivery.
- Qualifications in education, training, HR, or a related field (desirable).
- Experience working in or with First Nations communities (highly regarded).
Additional requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
