APS 5 Program Coordinator

HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of APS 5 Level Program Coordinator on behalf of our client, located in Surry Hills NSW or Deakin Canberra, ACT. This role is part of a large-scale technology program supporting the delivery of innovative ICT-based solutions to improve services nationwide.
About the Role
As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting major technology programs. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders, you'll provide program and project coordination across the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of program strategies
- Providing senior-level project management and administrative support
- Creating and maintaining reports, analyses, and risk/issue registers
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and dependencies
- Facilitating team meetings and managing the team kanban board
- Acting as a communication link between team members and stakeholders
- Coordinating and scheduling project meetings and workshops
- Safeguarding program processes and documentation

About You
We are seeking candidates who bring both experience and enthusiasm to the role. You will have:
- 4-6 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Hands-on program or project management experience
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Desirable skills include:
- Experience in projects, PMO, or business administration
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Jira and Confluence
- A willingness to adapt and learn new tools and ways of working
- Interest in accessible design and development
Additional requirements:
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
