Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operational responsibilities of the Business Services team, ensuring efficient, high-quality financial services.
- Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, and associated documentation for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Manage and review tax compliance assignments, including annual financial statements and activity statements.
- Leverage your expertise to manage tax issues like PSI, Division 7A, and CGT matters.
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of IAS/BAS returns, working directly with the ATO.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international clients.
- Support the Management Accountant with data entry and bookkeeping for local and international clients.
What You Bring:
- 5-6 years of post-graduate experience as a Business Services Accountant, with a strong track record.
- 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining client relationships, especially with international clients.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in APS, Handi Soft, ATO Portal, Class Super, and Xero.
- CA or CPA qualified with a passion for continuous professional development.
