HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual for the role of Customer Channels Representative on behalf of our esteemed client in the energy sector. About the Role:
As a Customer Channels Representative, you will be a key player in our client's Brand, Marketing, and Customer Channels group.
Your primary responsibilities include managing customer interactions in the Inbound Contact Centre, seamlessly navigating various communication channels, and ensuring compliance with core Contact Centre processes.
You will promote energy plans, products, and services to contribute to the success of our client as the go-to energy retailer in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer experience via an Inbound Contact Centre.
- Seamlessly navigate between telephone, written, and face-to-face channels.
- Ensure compliance with core Contact Centre processes.
- Confidently promote energy plans, products, and services.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience in customer services, sales, retail, or Contact Centre.
- Proficient in writing documents with strong grammar and punctuation.
- Basic mathematical skills for billing information and calculations.
- High-level computer skills, including customer management systems and Microsoft Office.
Skills and Attributes:
- Attention to detail and thorough issue examination.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Sound mathematical skills for accurate billing information.
- Customer-centered orientation.
- Resilience in managing high-pressure situations.
Benefits:
- Up to 6 months initial assignment with potential for extension or permanency.
- Flexible working arrangements - shifts are between 8:00am to 06:00pm Monday to Friday.
- Attractive hourly rate: $34.81 per hour including casual loading plus 11% superannuation.

You do need to have full work-rights for Australia with this role.
You will also need to be available to attend an Information / Assessment Centre at our client's site on either Friday 19 April or the Monday 22 April. If you are successful through our initial processes you will start on 29 April 2024.
