Engineer - Civil

Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Class C Driver's Licence

Essential Experience

• Advanced flood modelling expertise using standard software

• Deep knowledge of ARR2019 and NSW Flood Risk Management Manual

• Skilled in interpreting and communicating complex technical data

• Proven track record in flood studies and risk management planning

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Experience collaborating with consultants, agencies, and communities

Desirable Extras

• Postgraduate studies in water engineering, hydrology, or floodplain management

• GIS proficiency (MapInfo & QGIS)

• Familiarity with local government, development assessment, and floodplain frameworks
