A busy distribution centre is seeking a DC Support Administrator to provide customer service, transport coordination, stock control and accounts support in a fast-paced warehousing environment.

About the Role:
Reporting to the DC Manager, the DC Support Administrator is responsible for providing end-to-end administrative support across customer service, transport scheduling, inventory coordination, and accounts. This diverse and hands-on role plays a vital part in maintaining efficient DC operations and delivering exceptional service to internal teams, stores, and external customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of logistics systems, inventory processes, and financial administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate delivery bookings and prepare dispatch paperwork for warehouse staff
- Liaise with customers, transport providers and 3PL stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries
- Respond to customer queries regarding orders, deliveries, and claims
- Maintain delivery dockets, stock transfers, and store order documentation
- Perform financial administration including invoice checks, data entry, accruals and vendor liaison
- Support inventory accuracy through reconciliations, stock adjustments, freezes and credits
- Assist with reception and customer pick-up processes onsite
- Escalate operational or delivery concerns to the DC Manager as required
- Adhere to Chain of Responsibility and workplace health and safety requirements
- Collaborate across departments to support continuous improvement
- Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience in a logistics, warehousing or distribution administration role
- Strong understanding of delivery coordination and stock integrity processes
- Previous experience working with transport providers and/or 3PL partners
- Proficiency in warehouse systems such as TMS or Accellos (or similar)
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Full working rights are required
