Campus Logistics Officer

Immediate Start | Casual Full-Time Monday to Friday | 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM
About the Role
In this role, you will support logistics, asset management, and facilities functions under limited supervision from the Campus Logistics Cluster Lead, ensuring efficient and effective campus operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver client-focused campus services with professionalism and efficiency
- Perform general maintenance, including cleaning and grounds upkeep
- Manage inventory, storage, receiving, and distribution processes
- Support asset and salvage management across campus sites
- Apply knowledge of WHS practices, assess risks, and implement controls
About You
To be successful, you will need relevant experience in logistics and facilities support, along with strong WHS knowledge and a proactive, client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics, inventory management, and campus or facilities support
- Competency in maintenance and fleet management tasks
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, including data entry and retrieval
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices
- Understanding of asset management principles, including State Procurement Board and TAFE SA policies
- Must have a current Australian Driver's Licence, Forklift Licence (LF), National Police Check, and Working With Children Check
- Desirable: High-risk work licence for operating specialised equipment (e.g., Elevated Work Platforms, Crane, Hoisting)
Special Conditions
- Out-of-hours work and intrastate/interstate travel may be required
- Participation in the department's Performance Development Program is expected
- Compliance with Health Directions and site requirements, including those related to COVID-19
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and complete pre-employment screening checks
- Required to obtain First Aid and Fire Warden training within six months of employment
