Join our Service Design and Improvement Branch, where we're dedicated to enhancing internal service delivery processes and systems to elevate participant experiences. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, our goal is to streamline processes, improve timelines, and enhance outcomes for participants. About the Role
As an EL1 Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in driving very complex initiatives aimed at improving the participant journey. Your work will involve analysing current business processes, facilitating process design improvements, and providing program-level analysis to support our mission of delivering quality outcomes.
- Identifying and documenting current business processes to establish a baseline understanding.
- Facilitating process design improvements through business and systems process analysis.
- Providing program/stream level analysis and producing required documentation.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
- Supporting the Product Owner in elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
- Leading the transition of business requirements to development teams.
- Supporting verification testing of built solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse data.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and business analysis tools.
- Experience in process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Data analysis expertise to identify trends and insights.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
