Join our Service Design and Improvement Branch, where we're dedicated to enhancing internal service delivery processes and systems to elevate participant experiences. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, our goal is to streamline processes, improve timelines, and enhance outcomes for participants. About the Role
As an APS6 Business Analyst, you'll play a vital role in guiding complex initiatives aimed at improving the participant journey. Your work will be crucial in interpreting legislation and policy, implementing best practices, and driving strategic planning to support our mission of building world-leading services.
- Conducting business process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Gathering and managing business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Assessing risks and providing recommendations for mitigation.
- Supporting end-users and organising testing activities.
- Developing subject matter expertise across new systems and processes.
- Producing reports, interpreting data, and analysing results.
- Coordinating divisional and branch reporting requirements.
- Translating business metrics to inform stakeholder requirements.
- Designing workshops, communication materials, and consultation resources.
- Establishing governance, compliance processes, and management systems.
- Evaluating proposed solutions and supporting the transition of business requirements.
- Supporting verification testing to ensure alignment with business needs.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyse data.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and business analysis tools.
- Experience in process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Data analysis expertise to identify trends and insights.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
