Project Support Officer (AO3 Equivalent)

Are you an organised and proactive administrative professional with experience in supporting infrastructure projects? We're seeking a detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join a dynamic team working on road operations and infrastructure initiatives across the South Coast region.
Location: Nerang, Gold Coast, QLD
Employment Type: Part time, 3 days per week, Casual labor hire assignment
Rate: AO3 equivalent, $49 + p/h + super
About the Role
In this position, you will provide high-level administrative and project support to a team of engineers and project managers. You'll play a vital role in helping to ensure the smooth delivery of road-related projects by managing documentation, assisting with procurement, coordinating meetings, and tracking project progress.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate project meetings, take minutes, and assist with report and document preparation
- Maintain spreadsheets, registers, and project tracking systems
- Support procurement activities, including preparing documentation and liaising with external vendors
- Assist with financial approval workflows and contract administration tasks
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant policies, processes, and WHS standards
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of procurement and contract processes (experience in infrastructure preferred)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Team player with a professional, solution-focused mindset
- Current "C" class driver's licence
- Ability to pass national police check
- Must have Australian full working rights.
