- Role Type - Temporary assignment
- Salary - APS6 equivalent $60 + p/h + superannuation
- Start - ASAP, pending interview and security clearances
- Location - Brisbane CBD
About the Role
As an APS6 Case Manager, you will play a key role in managing Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) cases and resolving disputes efficiently and fairly. You will have delegated authority to assess, manage, and resolve cases while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end case management of ART applications, including access and support-related decisions.
- Applying alternative dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills to resolve applications.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on complex and sensitive matters.
- Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations, and Hearings conducted by the ART.
- Assessing and responding to high-priority and risk matters impacting individuals and overall scheme sustainability.
- Preparing and reviewing case plans to ensure appropriate supports are provided.
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven case management experience in a complex environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
- Experience working in the disability sector or a similar field.
- Knowledge of legislation, policy, and dispute resolution processes relevant to the role.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Ability to pass and maintain a National Police Check and other pre-employment checks.
