We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented APS6 Equivalent Program Coordinator to support the successful delivery of key technology-enabled business services within a prominent Federal Government Agency.
Role Details

- Rate: APS6 Equivalent + superannuation
About the Role
As Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating project activities across a fast-paced digital delivery team. Supporting senior leaders and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, you will manage schedules, reporting, documentation, and project governance activities. This position suits a motivated individual with experience in project coordination, a hands-on approach, and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate planning, secretarial, and administrative activities across multiple workstreams
- Develop and maintain project schedules, balancing technical and business priorities
- Track activities using project management tools, managing risks, issues, and key decisions
- Prepare and publish weekly status reports and assist with project communications
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project scope, dependencies, and deliverables
- Facilitate meetings, maintain kanban boards, and manage action logs
- Support the development and implementation of program strategies
- Safeguard documentation and ensure compliance with program governance processes
About You - Key Skills & Capabilities
- Proven experience in project or program coordination in a government or enterprise setting
- High-level administrative and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities
- Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Desirable: Experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
Mandatory Requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to pass and maintain Baseline Security Clearance
- Relevant experience in project coordination, PMO, or business administration
