We are seeking 2 x experienced and motivated Recruitment and Engagement Officers to join a high-performing HR team within a State Government agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to inclusive hiring and onboarding practices for Queensland's essential services.
Role Details
- Role Title: AO4 Equivalent Recruitment and Engagement Officer
- Role Type: Temporary Labour Hire, Full-time Hours
- Location: Brisbane CBD
- Rate: AO4 equivalent + superannuation
- Positions: 2 x positions available
About the Role
The successful candidates will support high-volume recruitment and onboarding processes for both blue- and white-collar roles across the agency. You will provide exceptional candidate care and help drive the agency's goal of building a diverse and inclusive workforce. This is a fast-paced role requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and strong teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement transparent and efficient recruitment processes in line with policy and diversity targets
- Provide accurate advice to selection panels and stakeholders on HR policy and procedure
- Deliver exceptional candidate care and promote the agency as an employer of choice
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment including advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling and onboarding
- Support onboarding and induction activities including event coordination and training record management
- Prepare recruitment documentation and ensure integrity and confidentiality of all records
- Analyse and report on recruitment data as requested by management
- Other duties as required
About You - Key Skills & Capabilities
- Proven experience in recruitment and engagement in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
- Experience using Springboard (highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to best-practice recruitment
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused in a dynamic environment
