Are you an experienced Project Support Officer with a passion for contributing to major infrastructure projects that improve safety and efficiency? A leading state government agency is seeking an AO3 Project Support Officer to provide high quality administrative and coordination support for a major infrastructure upgrade project.

- Rate: AO3 Equivalent, $49.40 p/h + Superannuation
About the Role:
Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Support Officer will manage day-to-day administrative operations, support executive and project assurance functions, and coordinate project activities to ensure effective delivery. This position will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to maintain governance standards, facilitate communication, and support a high performing project culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, timely, and confidential administrative support to the project team
- Assist the Senior Advisor (Project Assurance) with enquiries, diary management, and meeting preparations
- Arrange and coordinate team meetings, prepare and distribute meeting papers, and maintain project systems and processes
- Support minor HR and procurement activities in accordance with public sector standards
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including agency staff, senior executives, and industry partners
- Monitor project processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a proactive, performance-focused team culture and support professional development activities
- Represent the project team in relevant forums and meetings as required
- Undertake other duties as directed
- Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Full working rights are required
- Criminal history check
Desirable Requirements:
- Current Class 'C' Driver's Licence
- Experience working in major infrastructure projects
