Are you a governance and information management professional with expertise in document control, compliance, and data governance for major infrastructure projects? We are seeking an AO6 Senior Advisor (Governance & Information Management) to provide high quality support in managing information, compliance, and governance for a major infrastructure project in Queensland.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Project Controls Office, the Senior Advisor (Governance & Information Management) will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the New Albion Station redevelopment project within Queensland's network. The role involves establishing and maintaining information management systems, overseeing document control processes, and ensuring governance and compliance with legislative, contractual, and organisational standards. The position requires strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement information management systems, ensuring compliance, governance, and digital integration across the project
- Oversee configuration and deployment of the document control environment, facilitating end to end information lifecycle management
- Develop, govern, and maintain document control procedures, standards, and workflows across the project lifecycle
- Enhance capabilities of data custodians and implement data management controls
- Lead development, delivery, and review of information management policies, practices, and resources to optimise and protect information assets
- Provide high level analysis and advice to support organisational decision making
- Support governance, risk management, audit, and assurance activities in relation to information management
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding and application of governance processes
- Track project risks, issues, and performance metrics, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation strategies
- Support continuous improvement of information management processes and procedures
- Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Extensive experience in information management governance
- Demonstrated experience integrating project documentation into document control systems, including InEight (TeamBinder), SharePoint, MS Teams, and Content Manager
- High level literacy skills, including professional, clear, and concise written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt style for different audiences and mediums
- You must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this position
- Ability to obtain and maintain a national police clearance
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in governance, compliance, or project support within a state government agency or infrastructure delivery environment
- Knowledge of legislative, contractual, and organisational standards for information management
- Qualifications in information management, governance, or a related field
