HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced EL2-level Agile Coach to support a large-scale, user-centred initiative that's driving meaningful change for Australians.

Your role: As an EL2 Agile Coach, you'll work closely with delivery teams, leaders, and stakeholders to embed agile ways of working across the organisation. You'll coach teams in frameworks like Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban, uplift agile maturity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Coach cross-functional teams and senior leaders in agile practices
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and capability uplift workshops
- Guide Product Owners and Scrum Masters to improve delivery effectiveness
- Assess team maturity and tailor coaching plans accordingly
- Champion agile culture and adaptive governance across the program
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach in complex or large-scale environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including coaching EL1/EL2 and SES
- Deep knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
- Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills
- Federal government experience highly regarded
Bonus points for:
- Experience in disability, social services, or tribunal sectors
- Agile certifications (e.g. ICAgile, SAFe SPC, Certified Scrum Professional)
Eligibility:
- Australian Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and relevant clearances
