APS 6 Training Facilitation Officer

We're recruiting on behalf of a government agency for an experienced Training Facilitation Officer (APS6) to lead the delivery of culturally safe and inclusive training programs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about adult learning, First Nations engagement, and trauma-informed facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging training sessions across face-to-face, virtual, and blended formats.
- Co-facilitate with First Nations stakeholders to reflect lived experience and cultural knowledge.
- Promote psychological safety and trauma-aware practices in all learning environments.
- Support implementation of training packages and coach other facilitators.
- Collaborate with HR, L&D, and operational teams to align training with workforce needs.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in training facilitation and adult learning.
- Strong understanding of cultural safety and First Nations perspectives.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to respectful, trauma-aware, and inclusive practices.
