APS 6 Training Design Officer

We're seeking a Senior Training Design Officer (APS6) for a government agency focused on building workforce capability through culturally safe and inclusive training. This role is perfect for someone with instructional design expertise and a passion for First Nations collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design training packages using adult learning principles and inclusive practices.
- Co-design materials with First Nations stakeholders to ensure cultural safety.
- Develop facilitator guides, eLearning modules, and induction content.
- Pilot and evaluate training programs, incorporating feedback for improvement.
- Support vendor coordination and contribute to strategic workforce capability planning.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in instructional design and training development.
- Strong understanding of cultural safety and First Nations perspectives.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed and inclusive learning design.
