We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AO4 Equivalent Procurement Officer to support the efficient delivery of infrastructure projects within a key State Government Agency.

About the Role
As a Procurement Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting procurement processes across a wide range of infrastructure delivery projects. Working closely with senior procurement advisors and regional delivery teams, you will assist in the development and application of procurement strategies, maintain procurement documentation, and support best-practice contract management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, communication skills, and experience within government procurement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate procurement advice aligned with agency policy, processes, and procurement frameworks
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of procurement activities, including evaluation, documentation, and supplier engagement
- Liaise and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support procurement processes and compliance
- Assist in contract management tasks, including reporting, documentation, and compliance monitoring
- Support the continuous improvement of procurement systems, reporting tools, and processes
- Undertake administrative duties related to procurement projects and asset management, including tracking, stocktake, and disposal
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a culture of performance, accountability, and service excellence
- Other duties as required

- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies
- Ability to interpret and apply procurement guidelines and contract terms
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Experience supporting multiple projects in a dynamic work environment
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable using procurement and contract management systems
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience in a procurement or contract support role
- Full working rights in Australia
- Pre-employment checks may include criminal history screening
