Administration Officer (AO3 Equivalent)

We're looking for an organised, customer-focused Administration Officer to join our team in Longreach. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills, experience, and potential to contribute will be valued and recognised.

- AO3 equivalent $50 + p/h + super
- Starting ASAP, pending interview and security clearances.
About the Role
You will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and customer service support. From travel coordination to stakeholder engagement, your attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines will help ensure the smooth delivery of services to both internal and external clients.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel bookings including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries, and car hire within required timeframes.
- Manage correspondence, phone calls, and emails, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Build strong connections with local suppliers, industry partners, and colleagues to ensure timely service delivery.
- Prepare accurate reports, maintain records, and update systems such as Ellipse and Microsoft Office.
- Handle enquiries in the absence of senior staff, ensuring matters are addressed within expected timeframes.
- Maintain and improve procedures, manuals, and registers.
- Provide general administrative support to the team as required.
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a KPI-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Ellipse is advantageous.
- Professional, adaptable, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
