A local city council is seeking an Administration Officer (Level 3) to provide advanced administrative support across a range of business functions, ensuring efficient service delivery and high quality outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
Role Details:

- Type: Temporary Casual Labour Hire, Full-Time hours
- Location: Noosa, Sunshine Coast
- Rate: $50.21 p/h + Superannuation
About the Role:
Reporting to the relevant team leader, the Administration Officer will deliver a range of administrative services, including managing correspondence, financial transactions, record keeping, and information systems. The role involves providing timely and accurate advice, supervising and training support staff as required, undertaking specific projects, and serving as a primary point of contact for enquiries. This position suits a proactive professional who thrives in a busy environment and is committed to delivering high quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced administration services including customer contact, record management, and use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Process financial transactions and reports, and manage internal and external correspondence.
- Research and analyse information to prepare correspondence and reports.
- Undertake specific projects as required.
- Provide on the job supervision and training to support officers.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the provision of quality customer service.
- Undertake other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate III in Business Administration, Local Government, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience providing high-level administrative support in a customer-focused environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and deliver results with limited supervision.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office equipment.
- Proven ability to work as a positive team member in a flexible and customer-focused environment.
- C-class driver's licence.
- Full Australian working rights.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience coordinating staff and providing task supervision or training.
- Ability to obtain or hold either the Commissioner of Declarations or Justice of the Peace.
