EL1 Economist

Lead a team of economists tackling some of the most pressing challenges in human services markets. As an EL1 Assistant Director, you'll guide economic research and policy development that shapes pricing and market settings in a high-impact environment.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to influence the allocation of billions in funding, improve market performance, and support sustainable outcomes for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead teams delivering economic analysis and modelling
• Design and oversee pilot studies to address market failures
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide strategic advice on pricing and market policy
• Drive innovation in data analysis and economic insight

About You:

• Superior analytical and structured thinking skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Postgraduate qualifications in economics or econometrics
• Experience in the care economy is highly regarded
• Proficiency in R, Python, Stata, or SAS
