Multi-Skilled Road Maintenance Team Member (Band 4)

Summary: Join our team as a Multi-Skilled Road Maintenance Team Member in West Footscray! $37.04ph, 3-month contract with potential to extend.

About the role: As a Multi-Skilled Road Maintenance Team Member, you will undertake various road maintenance activities, ensuring the safety and quality of our infrastructure.

• $37.04 per hour + superannuation
• 3-month contract with potential to extend
• 38 hours per week, 7am to 3pm - Mon -Fri

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform road maintenance activities including concrete, asphalt, drainage, and signage work
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety procedures
• Operate plant and equipment safely and competently
• Provide traffic management support
• Maintain and replace drains, pits, and signage
• Complete customer service requests and provide detailed responses
• Act as a spotter for plant or equipment operations near services
• Estimate and order materials as needed

About You:

• Certificate 3 in Civil Construction and Maintenance
• Relevant practical experience in road maintenance and construction
• Current Victorian Medium Rigid Driver's Licence (Manual gearbox)
• Certificate of competency in Traffic Management and Spotter
• White Card
• Physically fit to undertake duties
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
