- Role title - Technical Advisory
- Location: Brisbane CBD
- Employment Type: Casual labor hire assignment, based on 37.5 hours per week.
- Rate: APS 6 Equivalent. $60.26 p/h + super
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Providing subject matter expertise through a coaching and mentoring approach, advising on appropriate supports to meet individual needs and outcomes
- Managing complex and sensitive conversations relating to support planning and funding approval
- Liaising with stakeholders, delegates, providers, and partners to ensure consistency in decision-making and the achievement of high-quality outcomes
- Contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and program management
- Delivering high-quality written and telephone-based clinical and technical advice, including accurate record keeping
- Supporting internal staff and partners to build capability in applying frameworks, guidelines, and clinical reasoning for complex decision-making
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Must be an Australian Citzen.
Recognised qualifications (degree, advanced diploma, or diploma) in one or more of the following disciplines:
- Occupational Therapy
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Speech Pathology
- Physiotherapy
- Psychology
- Registered Nursing (must be AHPRA eligible)
- Social Work
- Mental Health Practice
- Behavioural Support Practice
- Medico-Legal Allied Health
Desirable:
- Experience in disability, hospital, or aged care settings
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven clinical experience working with complex or novel cases
