Parking Officer
Location: Regional VIC
Work Type: Casual
Assist in the application of the Road Safety Act and Victorian Road Rules to increase opportunities to obtain suitable parking spaces within the municipality for residents, businesses and the general public and assist with the safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

General Duties:
- Respond to parking-related complaints and service requests.
- Patrol timed parking zones and perform regular mark-up checks.
- Conduct school zone patrols using an unmarked council vehicle.
- Identify and enforce common parking offences including:
- No Stopping
- No Parking
- Bus Zones
- Parking too close to intersections
- Other standard Road Rules Infringements.
- Issue proactive parking infringements during general patrols
- Accurately record infringement data using the PinForce enforcement system.
Requirements:
- Experience using PinForce is highly preferred.
- Understanding of Victorian Road Rules and parking enforcement practices.
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Confident and professional when dealing with members of the public.
- No requirement to manage or monitor paid parking, as the there are no paid parking zones.
