IT Infrastructure Support -Temp via HOBAN

About the Role

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and looking for a quick temp assignment with future potential?

Our client is undergoing a PC upgrade project across their office, and we're seeking a reliable IT Infrastructure Support to help with the hardware rollout. This is a short-term contract via HOBAN Recruitment, perfect for someone with IT knowledge who's comfortable with physical setup tasks-no technical troubleshooting or software installation involved.

You'll be supporting the setup of new workstations by unboxing, assembling, and connecting desktop hardware (monitors, towers, keyboards, cables, etc.). This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a business IT environment, especially if you're a student, recent graduate, or looking to build your hands-on IT support exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Unbox new PC equipment including desktops, monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals

• Physically set up and arrange workstation hardware at employee desks

• Plug in and manage cabling for monitors, power, and accessories

• Ensure each workstation is neatly and correctly configured according to layout

• Follow instructions provided by on-site supervisor or IT team

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable with light to moderate physical work (e.g. lifting PCs, bending, standing for periods)

• Previous experience in IT hardware setup or similar hands-on support roles in a business environment

• High attention to detail and pride in doing a job neatly and correctly

• Punctual, reliable, and professional in both appearance and attitude

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a small team

• Willingness to work outside standard office hours, including evenings or weekends, if required
