Process Worker

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking motivated and detail focused individuals to join an exciting temporary project as Process Workers in Parkinson, Brisbane. This role is perfect for those eager to make an impact in a fast paced, structured environment.

Role Details

• Role Type: Temporary Casual labour hire project, approx. 4 weeks pending business and performance requirements.

• Rates: From $31.19 p/h day shift + penalties for afternoon shifts
• Location: Parkinson, Brisbane, QLD
• Shift times: Mon - Fri, Morning 7am - 3pm or afternoon 3:30pm - 11:30pm

About the role
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Unseal and reseal boxes, accurately recording seal numbers in a log.
• Scan Box IDs into tracking software with precision.
• Feed batches of paper into scanners, ensuring smooth operation.
• Adhere to strict protocols and procedures for secure document handling.
• Cut spines off books with machinery
• Physical fitness is required for this position. You will be required to work on your feet and lift up to 15 kg safely.
• Ensure high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Assisting in unloading document packets from vehicles if required
• Other duties as required

About you
To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

• Full Australian working rights are required.
• Comfortable working in a standing position for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be comfortable lifting boxes up to 15kg
• No conflicts with year 12 students
• A current clear National Police Check (Completed within 12 months) or willingness to complete one.
• Full availability Monday - Friday including weekend work. (You will only work a maximum of 6 days per week).
• Access to reliable transportation to the Parkinson site.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and operate new software.
• Key attention to detail is required for these duties.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
