We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Payroll Officer to support a well-established organisation located in the Adelaide CBD. This is a temporary position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and confident working independently within a busy payroll environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end processing of payroll in line with relevant legislation, awards, and internal policies
Accurate calculation and reconciliation of pays, superannuation, tax, and leave entitlements
Handle payroll-related enquiries with professionalism and discretion
Assist with payroll reporting and internal audits as required
Support the maintenance and improvement of payroll systems and processes
About You:
Proven experience in a payroll role (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
