We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Specialist to join a high-performing digital marketing team within a federal government agency. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of clear, accessible, and timely digital communications to NDIS participants, their carers, providers, and wider audiences.
As the Digital Campaign Specialist, you will lead the set-up, deployment, and continuous improvement of high-volume, targeted digital marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You will also play a key role in expanding SFMC's functionality and service offering to support broader behaviour change and information campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS) using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio
- Deliver and optimise high-volume email campaigns (700k+ recipients) with a focus on accessibility and personalisation
- Develop responsive, accessible email templates and landing pages using WYSIWYG and basic HTML/CSS
- Implement dynamic content and personalisation using AMPScript
- Conduct A/B testing, quality assurance (Litmus/Email on Acid), and optimise campaign performance based on key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions)
- Support segmentation strategy using demographic and behavioural data
- Provide insights and continuous improvement recommendations through reporting and analysis (Datorama, Google Analytics, SFMC reports)
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the digital marketing product offer and improve service delivery
- Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, and deliverability best practices
Skills and Experience
Essential:
✔ 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
✔ Proven expertise in high-volume campaign deployment, audience segmentation, and multi-channel campaign delivery
✔ Strong skills in HTML, CSS, AMPScript, and building accessible, responsive email templates
✔ Familiarity with testing tools (Litmus, Email on Acid) and analytics platforms (Datorama, Google Analytics)
✔ Understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance requirements
✔ Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
Desirable:
✔ Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Admin certification
✔ Experience in regulated industries such as government, healthcare, or finance
✔ Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
