APS 6 level Program Co-ordinator

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled APS 6 level Program Coordinator to support a major technology initiative within a Federal Government agency based in either SYDNEY NSW or CANBERRA, ACT.
You will play a critical role in enabling business transformation through effective project coordination and administration, contributing to the enhancement of digital systems supporting our client in the disability industry.
About the Role:
- Coordinate planning activities, secretariat support, and team collaboration
- Manage project scheduling, tracking, and reporting using established project tools
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and maintain key documentation including risk registers and Kanban boards
- Produce and publish weekly status reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Provide hands-on support to ensure smooth delivery of strategic technology outcomes

About You:
- Proven experience in project coordination, administration, or PMO support
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with managing documentation, reporting, and risk registers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence (desirable)
- Open to learning and working with new tools and accessibility best practices
- Able to facilitate team collaboration in agile and hybrid work environments
