Your Impact:
As an APS6 level Network Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud and on-premises network infrastructure. This includes projects in LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, and Zero Trust architectures. You'll collaborate with architects, developers, and support teams to drive secure, reliable, and scalable solutions in a fast-moving ICT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud and on-prem network architectures (Azure/AWS)
- Support CI/CD environments and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and network issues
- Document systems, workflows, and operational processes
- Contribute to change management and continuous improvement
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access and enhance security postures
- Collaborate across departments to deliver integrated solutions
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Network or Cloud Engineer in enterprise settings
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and Wi-Fi principles
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and tools like Jira
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and thrive in dynamic project environments
- Experience in documenting systems and mentoring junior team members
Desirable:
- Experience in government, disability, or social service environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and ITIL frameworks
- Relevant certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Azure, AWS, or DevOps
Eligibility:
- You must be an Australian Citizen
- Able to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required
