Japanese-Speaking Project Coordinator

This is a interesting and highly engaging opportunity where you will support Japanese companies expanding into Australia, as well as assist Australian and New Zealand companies with their investment into Japan.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide support for the following projects handled by the team:
・Assisting Japanese companies with their business expansion into Australia and New Zealand (e.g., business matching support, handling inquiries, etc.)
・Supporting Australian and New Zealand companies with investment into Japan (e.g., providing information and services, responding to inquiries, etc.)
・Facilitating business collaboration and partnerships between Japanese and Australian/New Zealand companies
- Specific tasks may include encouraging companies to participate in our programs and events, responding to inquiries and applications from companies, and proposing or providing appropriate services.
- Communication and coordination with clients and partner organizations related to the above projects:
・Handling communication (in Japanese and English) with Japanese companies and Australian/New Zealand companies (manufacturers, importers, restaurant operators, retailers, startups, contractors, etc., across diverse industries)
・Liaising (in Japanese and English) with Austrade, state governments, Japanese government-related agencies, and other partner organizations
- Communication with our Headquarters related to the above projects
- Administrative support related to the above projects (e.g., internal procedures, expense reimbursements, etc.)
Conditions
- Domestic/overseas travel may be required
- Language requirements: Japanese - business level or above, English - business level or above (both written and spoken)
- The BD team consists of one Director and three staff members (including this position)
- Prior experience in similar work or specialized knowledge is not required at this stage
- Microsoft office skills necessary for document preparation/editing
- Permanent Resident, Partner Visa, Australian Citizenship
