Employment Relations Specialist

About the Role: Join our clients dynamic People, Culture & Safety team as a Workplace Relations Specialist. You'll support the Manager Workplace Relations and Wellbeing in delivering expert advice and services across employee and workplace relations, ensuring compliance and fostering constructive relationships with unions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on employee and workplace relations matters.
- Manage employee relations cases with a focus on timely, fair, and cost-efficient resolutions.
- Develop and implement Action Plans following reviews and investigations.
- Support enterprise agreement negotiations and represent the organization in tribunals and commissions.
- Prepare contracts of employment and maintain templates for case management.
- Collaborate with the injury management and Wellbeing team on employee case management strategies.
- Ensure adherence to Child Safe Standards and related policies.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate case management documentation.
- Prepare and review correspondence for employees, managers, and unions.
- Report on employee and dispute case management.
Business Alignment and Commercial Focus:
- Review position descriptions and classifications.
- Conduct training on employment matters.
- Provide reports and analyze trends in employee relations.
Collaboration and Partnership:
- Resolve complex employee and workplace relations issues.
- Work with People leaders and PCS team members to enhance the organization's reputation.
- Draft, review, and amend policies and workplace documents.
EBA Compliance:
- Provide interpretation and advice on workplace and enterprise agreements.
- Facilitate workshops to explain enterprise agreements and awards.
People and Team:
- Motivate, coach, and collaborate with peers to achieve organisational goals.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
